Summer and Selena

Summer Glau was an American actress, best known for playing River Tam in Firefly, a critically acclaimed television series. She also played Cameron on Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. As well as these shows, she's also appeared in Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck and Hawaii Five-0 as well guest-starring in the Angel The Unit series Cape Arrow & Sequestered. In addition, she has appeared in TV films and shorts including Mammoth, The Initiation Sarah Deadly Honeymoon, Help for the Holidays Dead End and Inside the Box. Glau has received several honours as well as awards up to now. She has been twice featured in the 100 Sexiest Women in the World by FHM and once ranked in Wizard magazine's list of Sexiest Women of TV. Maxim included her in the magazine's Hot 100. Glau's acting achievements are highlighted by the SFX Award, which she received for her role in Serenity. For her role as a character in Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles Glau won her the Saturn Award. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was the third child of Marcela Quintanilla and Abraham Quintanilla. When Selena was eight, she started an active career with a group formed by her father. Selena performed as the lead guitarist of the band, along with her two older siblings Abraham junior playing base, and Sister Suzette playing drums. Selena acted as the vocalist. Selena Y Los Dino, the band that she was in was known as Selena Y Los Dino. The band also played in wedding fairs as also at restaurants. It was a lot of busy for Selena and her family, which is why they never had much of an early childhood, but they were encouraged to become committed musicians due to the perseverance from the father Abraham. Abraham senior, who was also in Los Dinos' original band was a guitarist. Selena Y Los Dinos began in the year 1981 when they formed. The band was part of the Quintanilla family's main business, and their primary source of revenue. Quintanilla's family persevered through the early years of financial struggles. Selena Y Los Dinos achieved recognition throughout the West States in the latter part of the 1980s. Selena received the award for Female Singer and performer at the Tejano Music Awards in 1986. Selena Y Los Dinos grew in fame and popularity immediately afterward. They appeared on numerous Spanish-language TV shows including El Show De Johnny Canales Always On Sunday as well as Sabado Gigante.
